DIVE OR FREEDIVE WITH THE ICONIC HAMMERHEAD

Another one of the world’s most recognisable marine species, the hammerhead shark is a world favourite for many marine life enthusiasts. They can vary hugely in size with the largest ever recorded at just over 6 meters.

The distinctive shape of their heads gives them a predatory and defensive edge over most other sharks, with the larger spacing between the eyes giving them an almost 360 degree field of vision.

They are migratory and can be found in a large variety of water temperatures and locations. Hammerhead sharks are usually solitary animals; however, the scalloped hammerhead gather in their masses, forming one of the most famous walls of sharks that can be seen in the natural world!

They can be found in abundance in the following locations:

– The Galapagos

– Costa Rica

– Mexico

– Japan

– Australia

– The Caribbean

– South Africa

– Tanzania

– Mozambique

We can organise everything from boat charter, equipment and guides, to hotels, restaurant and day trip bookings. We’ll mount a specific expedition for you within a specified budget, or register your details in the form below to be kept up to date with the latest pre-built hammerhead trips.
